Biography
Linda Waldman is the Director of Teaching and Learning at the Institute of Development Studies, and a research Fellow in the Health and Nutrition Cluster. As the Director of Teaching and Learning, Linda participates in IDS strategic decision-making, and oversees all Teaching-related activities, with a student-centered approach.听 听Linda has been involved in a number of Higher Education programs, working with university educators and leaders to enhance education through participatory teaching methodologies, and Gender, Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity.听 As social anthropologist, Linda鈥檚 research focuses on identities, gender, civil society, environmental policy processes and health, peri-urban sustainability, zoonotic disease, digital health, and gender, with policy and research experience in Africa, South Asia and the UK.
